For Your Special Day...
This is a very important day for each and every Bride. I work with Brides to create a beautiful wedding cake for their special day. I also offer traditional grooms cakes and more non-traditional as well. Most Couples like to showcase their hobbies, occupations, alma mater, etc. and I am happy to help the couples create the perfect groom's cake for their event.
Flavors and Icings:
You may want to consider having a different flavor for each tier. The flavors don't necessarily have to compliment one another because they will be served on separate plates. Although the cake flavors and filling flavors may be different, the icing flavor is the same for all tiers. This is to keep uniformity of the exterior design of the cake.

This will give you an idea of different options for your wedding cake. Wedding Servings are based on a 1 inch by 2 inch serving.
- You should plan on about 70-75% of the people you invite to your wedding to attend.
- You can make changes to the amount of servings up to 3 weeks prior to your event. By that time you should have received the majority of your RSVPs back. You may want to add 10-15% of the amount you invited to your final number for non-RSVP attendees.
- Remember that it's better to have too much than not enough.
Most brides get quotes from 2 or 3 different bakers and I understand and welcome that. I will provide an estimated quote initially based on the amount of servings, type of cake(s) requested and complexity of the designs. Once the Bride has chosen ALY Cakes to create the cakes for her event; I will have a consultation with the Bride to finalize the plans for her cake(s). At this consultation, we will go over the Bride/Baker contract and finalize the price.
Wedding Cakes are to be ordered
a minimum of 12 weeks prior to
your reception to ensure that my
calendar will accommodate
Wedding cakes start at $2.75 per serving for Buttercream icing
and $3.75 per serving for fondant icing.
Final pricing of the wedding cake depends on the
overall design of the cake.
There is no charge for a wedding cake design consultation. Please call to make an appointment so that we will be able to discuss your cake design without interruption.
I require a $50.00 deposit on wedding cakes which is due at
the time of contract.
Delivery within a 20 mile radius of my location is included in the final price of the wedding cake. Delivery outside of this radius will be charged an additional $50.00.
The top tier, or "Anniversary Tier", is my gift to the bride and groom, and is not included in the price of your cake or the number of servings. I will also provide a box for your caterer.
